By day, Karin is a sole practitioner representing plaintiffs in civil rights and employment cases. By night, she's the Federal Sherpa®, assisting lawyers and arbitrators with writing projects of all kinds. She was a federal career clerk for seven years, and focuses her freelance practice on drafting memoranda in support of federal motions--motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, discovery motions, Daubert motions, pre-trial motions in limine, post-trial motions for a new trial, or for contempt, or to vacate judgments. She drafts parties' submissions for arbitration and mediation, has helped arbitrators and special masters draft written decisions, and takes on research, writing, and appellate projects.
This service involves drafting of motion(s) and/or pleading(s), and may include legal research as required.
